me rn watching the trailer with tony leaving a goodbye message for pepper, about 1 day away from death:
vs me next year watching that very same scene but then pepper as rescue, carol and valkyrie all come at once to save them:
just think…when the actual movie comes out we’re gonna see that scene of tony saying goodbye to pepper without cuts to other scenes, just 100% pure rdj acting his lil socks off. we won’t just hear his voice break on “that’ll be it” we’ll see his face as he says it too
tony stark…really is…odysseus…travels far from home to fight a war he doesn’t want to fight…loses his entire team…stranded and loses hope…just wants to see his wife…super smart…i love him…a goddess (carol or pepper) will help him get home…
