this just sparked an interesting parallel in my brain: both here and in afganistan tony feels responsible for his fellow captive, someone he cares greatly for. both times tony does his best to save pepper and yinsen, and both times he fails. but where yinsen accepts his death willingly, pepper outright refuses to die. she saves herself. the story changes, and that rewritten ending is pretty powerful

sleepyoldchild:

Young Gryffindor Tony Stark,,, cause the world needs more HP aus

the “which house does tony belong in” debate caused absolute carnage on discord but i am proud to say that i won and here is the (absolutely gorgeous) proof

i maintain that tony is complex enough that decent arguments can be made for sorting him into every house but my heart cries gryffindor and when it’s tony stark you always listen to your heart cause that’s Who He Is

in this au he grows up to be muggle studies professor, casually inventing a whole new field of magic in the classroom by combining magic and technology, but here he’s still young and uncertain about his future
