those last moments… in the first gif when he looks to steve for support. for reassurance. as a friend. those last moments where he trusts steve and looks at his friend because He Knows That Road but he doesn’t yet know WHY he’s being shown the video, he doesn’t yet know that it was bucky. i’d never noticed it before because in the film it’s such a brief thing but that’s totally what tony is doing here. then in the second gif where he’s just pulled into what’s happening and he can’t look away and the look on his face is just AWFUL because not only is he seeing his parents’ deaths he’s learning that he’s not gonna be able to lean on steve for support like he thought he could (and it takes so much for tony to even get to the point where he’s comfortable doing that so it’s even more ow) and however bad he knew it was gonna be at the start of the video it’s actually So Much Worse and god my heart is shredded

First thing I thought was “I only need loads of cats and I won’t care about the other stuff”.

Every year I get closer to becoming my true form; crazy cat lady.

this is oddly hilarious to me cause i have binge eating disorder and bulimia so getting rid of junk food would actually SOLVE a problem for me. coffee aggravates my chronic illness and gives me headaches so that’s already out. i prefer true crime to fictional horror. i don’t really play video games. i’m a dog person. i like star wars and metal but could happily live without them

so i’m left with alcohol and i would be bummed if i could never get drunk again but i’d probably be okay cause i go to parties and stuff sober a lot anyway

and then superhero films. never seeing tony stark on screen again would actually kill me so congrats i guess you found my one weakness. it’s iron man

this scene is just golden because tony was never planning to reveal his identity as iron man. but right when blondie laughs and says ‘i never said you were a superhero’, she obviously hit a nerve and tony literally goes ‘alright, you wanna play? i can play’, LOOKS HER STRAIGHT FUCK IN THE EYE, AND TELLS THE WHOLE WORLD HE’S IRON MAN. A SUPERHERO.

What makes it better is that this is Christine, who he’s kinda dancing around the entire movie. She’s the one he slept with in the beginning, and she’s the one who gave him the pictures. She’s constantly poking at him or pushing him, and whether it’s just to get a story or because she cares about him in some roundabout way, we can definitely say she’s a large part of the movie and his journey even if she doesn’t have a ton of screen time.

Christine absolutely doesn’t deserve the hate she gets. Tony wouldn’t have been made aware of Stark Industries dealing under the table without her. And she said she was disappointed in him when she thought he went back on his word ablut accountability which means that on some level she WAS rooting for him.

She is someone who isn’t for or against Tony. She wanted the truth amd she stuck to it. Honestly her stupidest move was trying to belittle Pepper and my girl Pepper owned her ass for that.

Her staying seated when all the other reporters jumped up is honestly such a power move.

She’s underrated and underappreciated.
